Top 10 Lift Companies in Varanasi (2026)

If you are comparing lift companies in Varanasi, you will meet three kinds of supplier: small firms based in the city, national brands that have opened a Varanasi office, and regional companies such as ours. This page names ten of them. For each one we give only what we could trace to a company website, a trade listing or a published announcement, so you can start your own checks from solid ground.

Disclosure: This list is published by Eldeal Engineers, so we have placed ourselves first. The nine companies after us are grouped by how strong the evidence for them is and put in alphabetical order inside each group. Nobody is ranked or rated, and neither quality nor price is compared.

How this list of lift companies in Varanasi was put together

We checked each name against its own website where one exists, and against trade directories where it does not. A company is included only if the same name and a Varanasi address appeared in the sources we could read. The groups below tell you how strong that evidence was. A firm that sits in the "trade listings" group may be every bit as capable as one with a website. It simply means you should confirm its current address and services yourself before you invite a quote.

The publisher: two branches in the city

1. Eldeal Engineers

Eldeal Engineers Pvt. Ltd. has two branches in Varanasi. The first is on Paramhans Ashram Road, Vaishnav Nagar, Bhagwanpur. The second is on Samne Ghat Road near Janaki Nagar More. Both are described on our Varanasi office page. We are a regional company serving Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, founded in 2017; the corporate office is in Sasaram, Bihar, the registered office in New Delhi, and there are further branches in Patna and Bhagalpur. Escalators, goods lifts, capsule lifts, hospital lifts, home lifts and passenger lifts are supplied, installed, maintained, repaired and modernised by us, and AMC is offered. The lifts come with V3F drives, an automatic rescue device (ARD), an intercom, an emergency light, an overload sensor with voice prompt and light-curtain door protection. Singh Healthcare and Kashi Residency Hotel are two of our clients in Varanasi.

Varanasi-based companies with their own website

2. Ethic Elevator

Ethic Elevator is a Varanasi firm whose website gives an address on Bhitari Road, Lahartara. The site describes elevator installation, repair, maintenance and manufacturing, and lists house, freight, service, hospital and parking elevators, along with modernisation of older lifts. It gives its service area as "Varanasi and Near by Area". The same name and city also appear in a trade-directory profile. If your building is outside the city, ask whether it falls inside the area the firm covers and who would attend a breakdown call.

3. VHT Elevator

VHT Elevator has its own website, which gives an office address in Singra, Varanasi. A trade directory lists the business as VHT Elevator Services. The site lists passenger, freight and goods, home, hospital stretcher, scenic, capsule and car elevators. On the service side it names installation, AMC, repair and maintenance, and modernisation. As with any firm, ask to see a recent installation of the same type of lift you plan to buy, and ask how many service staff are based in the city.

Varanasi-based companies recorded in trade listings

For the next five firms our research found trade-directory profiles rather than a company website we could read. Treat each entry as a starting point and confirm the details with the firm.

4. Hind Elevator Co.

Hind Elevator Co. has a trade-directory profile that places it in Varanasi. The profile lists manual passenger elevators, elevator cabins, goods elevator cabins, lift channel gates and wall-mounted goods lifts. Please note the exact name: this is a different business from Hind Elevators Private Limited of Prayagraj, and from similarly named firms in other states. No company website was found in our research, so ask the firm directly for its current address, its product range and a couple of sites you can visit.

5. Pacific Elevators

Pacific Elevators appears in two trade directories with Varanasi as its city. The listings mention passenger elevators and lift cabins, and elevator installation services for residential, apartment, commercial, hotel and mall buildings. It should not be confused with Pacific Elevators India of Manesar, Gurugram, which is a separate business with its own website. Our research did not find a website for the Varanasi firm, so confirm its office address and its maintenance arrangements when you call.

6. SRS Elevators Company

SRS Elevators Company is listed in two trade directories, one of which gives an address in the Meerapur Basahi area of Varanasi. Its directory profile lists residential passenger elevators, goods elevators, capsule elevators, hospital lifts and home elevators, with installation, AMC, maintenance and modernisation as services. No company website was found in our research. Ask which of these lift types the firm has installed most recently in the city, and who carries out the monthly service visits.

7. Zeal Elevators

Zeal Elevators has a trade-directory profile that gives Varanasi as its location. The profile lists passenger elevators, elevator cabins and doors, and services that include installation, maintenance, modernisation and design. A separate page on the same directory describes its modernisation service. Our research did not find a company website. If you are thinking about upgrading an older lift rather than replacing it, ask the firm what a typical upgrade includes and how long the lift would be out of use.

8. Zenith Elevators

Zenith Elevators is listed in a trade directory with an address in Mahmoorganj, Varanasi. The listing mentions passenger elevators, hydraulic lifts, home elevators, glass elevators, industrial elevators, goods lifts and wheelchair lifts. A company with a similar but longer name appears elsewhere on the web. We could not confirm any connection, so we have not treated the two as the same business. Ask the Varanasi firm for its registered name and current address when you request a quote.

National brands with an office in Varanasi

9. Omega Elevators

A Varanasi location in Mahmoorganj is listed on the official contacts page of Omega Elevators; Lucknow, Agra and Patna are on that page too. Ask whether installation and service staff work from the Varanasi location or travel in from another branch. Omega is an Indian company. By its website's account it was founded in 1985 and has branches in 45 locations across India, and its headquarters and production plant are in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Service, goods, car, capsule, bungalow, hospital and passenger elevators are in its range, with escalators and dumbwaiters, and so are maintenance and modernisation.

10. TK Elevator

TK Elevator's office in Varanasi is recent. The company announced it in July 2025, in an announcement carried by trade publications, and said the new office was opened to support installation, maintenance and modernisation projects. TK Elevator India is the Indian arm of a German-origin group and was formerly thyssenkrupp Elevator. Chakan, Pune, has its India headquarters and a multi-purpose facility. On the company's website you will find moving walks, escalators, home and villa elevators and elevators for low, mid and high-rise buildings, and a statement that it has 21 branches and 84 service centres in India. Ask which of those centres would look after your building.

Other national brands: ask about local service

Three more brands, KONE, Johnson Lifts and Schindler, list a Lucknow office on their official pages. Varanasi was not on the pages we read. For Otis, our research found no official local office. None of this means that these brands do not work in Varanasi. Before comparing quotes, simply ask each of them where its nearest service engineer is based. If you also own property across the border, the wider picture is in our list of lift companies in Bihar.

How to choose between them in this city

Varanasi puts its own demands on a lift. Many buildings stand on narrow plots, in lanes where a truck cannot reach the door. Hotels and guest houses fill up in the pilgrim and festival seasons, when a stopped lift costs bookings. Power cuts and voltage dips are part of life. Weigh each company against those facts.

• Service distance. An office address and a service team are different things. Where does the engineer who would attend your breakdown actually live and work?
• Parts. Which parts are kept in the city? Which are ordered in, and from where?
• IS 17900. The standard to name is IS 17900, mandatory for new lift installations from 22 December 2025 according to BIS. Have compliance written into the quote.
• A transparent quote. Everything should be on paper: the make of the drive, controller and doors, the civil work, the taxes and whatever is excluded. Our questions to ask before buying a lift will help you read it.
• AMC terms. Know which parts the contract covers. Our guide to comprehensive and non-comprehensive AMC explains the difference.
• Registration. In Uttar Pradesh, the Lifts and Escalators Act, 2024 requires a lift to be registered and regularly maintained. Ask who prepares the paperwork, and confirm the current procedure with the local authority.

If you run a hotel or guest house, our page on hotel lifts in Varanasi covers guest and service lifts in more detail.

What we verified, with room for your notes

The table holds only what our research could verify. Add three columns of your own: nearest service engineer, IS 17900 in writing and AMC terms. Each is a question for the company.

Print the table, take it to each meeting and write the answers in the company's own words. Three completed rows will tell you more than any list, including this one.
