Home lift options we offer
Compact traction home lift
A small V3F-driven traction lift sized for homes. It gives a smooth, quiet ride and suits houses with a proper shaft built into the plan. This is the most common choice for new bungalows.
Hydraulic home lift
A hydraulic lift pushes the car up with an oil-driven cylinder. It needs very little overhead space and works well for two to four stops. It is a good fit when the roof height above the top floor is limited.
Glass or panoramic home lift

How much does a home lift cost?
This is the first question almost every family asks. A common market range quoted for home lifts in India in 2026 is roughly ₹4.5 lakh to ₹18 lakh or more. That is a wide range, and it is wide for good reasons. The main price drivers are:
- Type of lift: traction, hydraulic or glass panoramic.
- Number of floors (stops): each extra stop adds rails, doors and wiring.
- Doors: manual swing doors cost less than automatic sliding doors.
- Cabin finish: painted steel, stainless steel, wood panels or glass.
- Civil work: whether a shaft and pit already exist or need to be built.

Safety built in, even at home
A home lift is often used by the people who most need a safe ride. Every Eldeal residential lift includes an Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) to bring the car to a floor during a power cut, door protection, an overload sensor with voice prompt, an alarm, intercom and emergency light. Power cuts are common in many towns, so ARD matters a great deal for home lifts.
Older home-lift code IS 15259 is being replaced. As per BIS, IS 17900, harmonised with EN 81-20 and EN 81-50, became mandatory for new installations from 22 December 2025. Please confirm current requirements with your architect, as notifications can change.
Planning space in your house
If you are still building, tell your architect early. A home lift needs a shaft, a shallow pit and some headroom above the top floor. Hydraulic and some compact designs need less pit and headroom.
