Choosing a lift company in Rohtas is easier when the company is already part of the district. Eldeal Engineers has its corporate office on Old G.T. Road in Sasaram, the headquarters town of Rohtas district. From here we supply, install, maintain, repair and modernise lifts and elevators for hospitals, colleges, hotels, shops, mills and homes across the district.
If you searched for an elevator company in Rohtas, a lift supplier or a lift manufacturer, this page explains what we do, which buildings we work on and how to judge any lift company before you sign. Every Rohtas site is handled by our Sasaram corporate office team, the same people who will look after the lift once it is running.
A lift company in Rohtas that stays after handover
A lift is not a one-time purchase. It needs checks every month, spare parts for years, and someone to answer the phone when it stops between floors. Many owners in the district have learnt this the hard way, with a lift bought from a distant dealer and no one nearby to service it.
We work the other way round. Supply and installation are only the start. The same Sasaram team then offers annual maintenance contracts, breakdown repair and, later, modernisation. Support is available 24/7 on +91 84489 44342.
Supplier, installer or manufacturer: what you actually need
People in Rohtas search for a "lift manufacturer", "lift supplier" and "elevator company" as if they were the same thing. They are not, and the difference affects your building.
- Manufacturer: makes components such as machines, controllers or door operators in a factory. Few of them install or service lifts in small towns directly.
- Supplier: sells a lift package. Some suppliers leave installation to a local contractor, which splits responsibility.
- Lift company (supply, install and service): takes charge of the whole job, from site survey to maintenance. This is what Eldeal Engineers does.
We supply design-tested lifts and inspect every installation stage ourselves. If something goes wrong, there is one company to call, not three.
Lifts for the buildings Rohtas is building
Rohtas is a large district with very different buildings, from medical colleges near Jamuhar to rice mills in its farming belt and new family houses in every town. The table below shows how we usually match lift type to building. The final choice always follows a site survey.
| Building type | Typical lift | What matters most |
|---|---|---|
| Hospital or nursing home | Stretcher-size hospital lift | Smooth start and stop, ARD for power cuts, wide doors |
| College, hostel or coaching building | Passenger lift, 8 to 13 persons | Handling rush at fixed times, strong doors |
| Hotel or marriage hall | Passenger or capsule lift | Ride comfort and a good-looking cabin |
| Rice mill, godown or shop | Goods lift | Load capacity, sturdy car, simple controls |
| Private house | Home lift | Small footprint, safety for elders and children |
Our clients in the district include Narayan Medical College & Hospital and Gopal Narayan Singh University in Jamuhar, Samarpan Hospital and Janata Nursing Home in Sasaram, and Samridhi Hotel & Resorts in Sasaram. You can read about specific products on our hospital elevator and industrial goods elevator pages.
Where we work in Rohtas district
Our Sasaram team covers the whole district. That includes Sasaram town and Jamuhar, Dehri-on-Sone and Dalmianagar along the Sone, and Bikramganj, Nokha, Kochas and Chenari. The Grand Trunk Road links much of this area, which helps our engineers plan survey and service visits efficiently. For projects outside Rohtas, see all our service locations.
What to check before you hire any lift company
Whether you choose us or someone else, ask these questions before you pay an advance:
- Will the company do a site survey and give an itemised written quotation?
- Who installs the lift: the company's own team or an outside contractor?
- Does the lift have a V3F (VVVF) drive, an automatic rescue device, an overload sensor and door protection?
- Is the design aligned with IS 17900, the current Indian lift safety standard for new installations?
- Who will service it, how often, and what does the AMC include?
- Where is the nearest office, and is breakdown support available round the clock?
Our answers are simple. We survey free, quote in writing, install and inspect with our own people, fit V3F drives, ARD, an overload sensor with voice prompt, intercom, emergency light and a light-curtain door sensor as standard, and service what we install from Sasaram.
Rules and safety for lifts in Bihar
Lift safety rules are tightening. IS 17900, harmonised with EN 81-20 and EN 81-50, became mandatory for new lift installations from 22 December 2025, according to BIS. It stresses protection against unintended car movement, ascending car overspeed protection and automatic rescue. The Bihar Lift and Escalator Bill, 2024, passed by the Bihar Assembly on 2 August 2024, deals with registration, inspection, regular maintenance, third-party insurance and major upgrades of old lifts. Please confirm current notifications with the local authority before you build.
How a project with us runs
Free site survey, then a design and written quote, then supply, installation with stage-wise inspection, load and safety testing, handover with user training, and finally an AMC so the lift stays safe. You deal with one team from the first visit to the last service call.
The survey is where most mistakes are avoided. Our engineer measures the shaft or the space where a shaft can be built, checks pit depth and overhead height, looks at the electrical supply and asks how the building will actually be used. A nursing home that moves patients at night needs a different lift from a shop that moves sacks during the day. We then explain the options in plain language, including whether a machine-room-less design suits your building, so you can compare prices on a fair basis.
Already have a lift that is noisy, jerky or often out of order? We also repair and upgrade older lifts of other brands, and our lift modernisation service can replace a worn controller or drive without rebuilding the whole installation.
